Iron Tide Command
★★★★☆ 4.4
Iron Tide Command squeezes a proper RTS onto a phone and mostly pulls it off. You manage bases, gather resources, and command units across a campaign that ramps up nicely in difficulty. The tutorial is patient, which we appreciated, because the systems get deep fast.
Touch controls for strategy games are always a risk, but the developers leaned into gestures smartly. Drag-select works, unit grouping is quick, and the pause-and-plan option saves you during hectic battles. It won't replace a PC RTS, but it holds its own.
The campaign is the star. Each mission introduces a twist — a supply shortage here, a timed defense there — so it never settles into routine. A great pick if you want something to actually think about.
What we liked
- Clever touch-based unit control
- Varied, well-paced campaign
